This is a traditional kokeshi doll created by Chiyoji Matsuzawa (松澤/松沢 千代治) in 1983 (Showa 58).  
It features a soft expression and beautifully vibrant horizontal stripes in red, purple, yellow, and green. The design is simple, yet has a strong presence.  
On the bottom, it’s signed with the artist’s name "Chiyoji Matsuzawa" and marked with the production year Showa 58, making it a recommended piece for collectors as well.
